DA.AI Super Functional Pressure Garments Accompanies Rehabilitation Better

(Photo by: DA.AI Technology Co., Ltd.)After the Formosa Water Park explosion in 2015, leaving nearly 500 young burn patients suffering through rehabilitation, DA.AI sees a mission to develop high performance pressure fabric with cooling effect, based on precise measurement of each individual patient's body sections. The required pressure value of medical level pressure garments is between 20-30 mmHg (millimeters of mercury); to be more precious, 25 mmHg is the pressure value that blocks vas capillary to supply nutrition to scar cell, therefore, eases the hypertrophic scars. DA.AI’s new pressure fabric not only meets this precision, but also adds cool powder in the cross-section yarn to give it high breathability and cool effect.

DA.AI’s pressure fabric combines 560D Japanese Opelon elastic yarn with the enhanced Supernet weaving technique provides a warp 30% stretching rate, and up to 4 pounds of pulling force, which can reach about 25mmHg high pressure level for medical treatment. The smooth weft design yields a 30% stretching rate in only 0.5 pound of pulling force with one sixth frictions comparing with traditional pressure fabric easier for patients to rehabilitate without causing irritation and discomfort to skin.

CAPTION: A 6-month clinical trial and cooperative work by DA.AI’s researchers and Tzu Chi’s volunteers significantly reduced the rate of scar redness with this new pressure fabric. (Photo by: DA.AI Technology Co., Ltd.)The main goal of pressure fabric project is to determine the effectiveness of how pressure garments help burn patients hypertrophic scar recovery. A 6-month clinical trial and cooperative work by DA.AI’s researchers and Tzu Chi’s volunteers significantly reduced the rate of scar redness with this new pressure fabric. All data recorded not only helps trial participants, but also benefits future patients as well. As a result, DA.AI donated 2,000 yards of this newly developed fabric to Sunshine Rehabilitation Center, together with the sincerest blessing to all burn patients around the world.
