Cheng Tian Buddhism Monastery, together with DA.AI, Coexists with the Earth

Cheng Tian Buddhism Monastery (CTBM) located in the mountain district of Tucheng, New Taipei City, was built by the well-known Buddhist monk, Dharma Master Guang Chin, in 1955. Large number of pilgrims come for worship during weekends and special festivals, where are often seen walking along the mountain path towards the Monastery with sincerity. Recently, knowing that CTBM has demand for backpack, Tzu Chi volunteer Shu-li Lin shared DA.AI’s eco effort to communicate environmental protection concept to the masters, and invited them to visit DA.AI and witness its eco spirit.

After visiting DA.AI, Dharma Master Dauru and Master Daufa were not only moved by Dharma Master Cheng Yen’s "coexist with the earth" philosophy, but also agreed to the idea of “prolonging an article’s life, and extending the blessing and wisdom.” "Tzu Chi's recycling mission began with one site in 1990, and has flourished to more than 8,600 sites now. DA.AI made a vow to bring hope and return vitality to the environment; in addition, with its innovative intention, millions of used PET bottles became useful eco-garments and accessories once again. Both masters personally felt the Great Love and green value that lies within DA.AI’s eco-friendly products and Tzu Chi’s humanistic philosophy, and decided to customize the Monastery’s backpack needs with the company.

After receiving and using the backpack, the masters from CTBM were very satisfied. This eco backpack not only comes with water repellent surface, but also contains multiple storage compartments for better item classification to load all sort of accessories. It is practical, functional, and fashionable with elegant design. The side net pockets are convenient for water bottle and umbrella. The “Coexist with the Earth” printing on the lower right coherences with Master Cheng Yen’s spirit.

Tzu Chi environmental promoters have evolved from amateurs to now expert, which worldwide organizations come to Taiwan to learn from. DA.AI Technology will continue to guard their strong vow and spirit, following Tzu Chi’s path of environment protection.
