MIT Certification Brings Warmth and Product Safety to Society

The Made in Taiwan (MIT) Smile logo certification not only indicates the product’s country of origin, but also a proof that the quality is verified by the government impartial third party to ensure its industrial competitiveness. In 2010, the Taiwanese Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) started promoting certified MIT products in assigned franchise stores, which assisted domestic traditional industries to improve product quality through awarding the "MIT smile mark" certification.

The MIT label first applied to product ranging from textiles, plastic toys, and bikes since 1980’s, and expanded to laptops and computer chips in the 1990’s; while over 80% of the world's laptop is designed and made in Taiwan. MIT certification on DA.AI eco-products shows that the products are not only made in Taiwan, but also their manufacturing process and product material passed rigorous national testing and safety standards.

The smiling face of the MIT Smile logo represents the Product Excellence verification system, reassuring “quality, healthy, functionality and trustworthy” of the product.
