Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainable Management of Great Love

DA.AI’s 2015 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Report was testified by the British Standards Institution (BSI) once again under its strict audition in mid-June, 2016. BSI audited according to the GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) G4 guidelines and AA 1000 Type 1 verification standards, in addition, DA.AI also follows the ISO 26000 and the UN Global Alliance indicators. There are five chapters of DA.AI 2015 CSR report: company profile, sustainable environment, green platform, blessed workplace, and social welfare. From DA.AI’s management philosophy, environmental protection efforts, colleagues’ welfare to public service in community, the report covers all aspects of the company’s sustainable results.

This report represents DA.AI’s social responsibility commitment to its shareholder, while being profit sustainable at the same time. This year, DA.AI focused more on product’s responsibility to society by actively respond with developing specialized garments such as compression apparels to accompany burnt survivors from the Formosa Entertainment Park dust explosion last year. It not only relieved patients’ pain, but also shortened their rehabilitation process. Another example is the Recycle 2 Recycle (R2R) eco blanket, which not only supplies humanitarian disaster relief distributions, but also makes DA.AI a role model of global green industry.

Caring for the community and integrity in management are the fundamental scopes of CSR spirit, which fits with the values that DA.AI has always honored. Other than receiving the Taiwan Corporate Integrity Album Award from Ministry of Economic Affairs in 2011, DA.AI has also received 2011 Taiwan Time Magazine CSR Award, 2013 Manager Today CSR Award and the 2014 Common Wealth CSR Award, not to mention that DA.AI became the 10th Certified B Corporation (B Corp) Taiwanese company in June, 2016. All these recognitions motivates DA.AI further on the path of corporate social responsibility, as Chairman Walter Huang describes "an enterprise does not built upon its scale, but rather how much we can contribute to society and the world.” We hope our strong core values and CSR actions will continue to fulfill our duty and mission toward the Earth, as well as influence more others to join.
