DA.AI’s Video Conference with US Tzu Chi Carries Environmental Protection Humanism and Great Love onto the Other Side of the Pacific

CAPTION: On April 30th, 2014, 10AM Taiwan time, Tzu Chi volunteers on the West Coast of the United States just got off work and joined a video conference with DA.AI Technology headquarter in Taipei to hear about the company’s missions. Together with over 300 yearly sharing presentations within Taiwan, DA.AI will continue to send the message to the rest of the world, making Tzu Chi’s environmental protection promotion into a non-resting circle of love. (Photo by: Sandy Huang)As Dharma Master Cheng Yen once said, “Tzu Chi’s mission is non-resting, off-work period and holidays are often the busiest for the global Tzu Chi volunteers, as they are working every minute and second to purify the world and write a meaningful page for each of their lives.” On April 30th, 2014, 10AM Taiwan time, Tzu Chi volunteers on the West Coast of the United States just got off work, but are already gathered together in local Tzu Chi offices, ready for a video conference with DA.AI Technology headquarter in Taipei to hear about the company’s mission, and wish to carry on the ideologies onto the other side of the Pacific.

The main reason for this video conference is to prepare for the Silicon Valley Chinese American Computer & Commerce Association coming up in May, where Tzu Chi’s Environmental Promoter of the North California Branch, Wangteng Tsai, will be sharing DA.AI Technology and its environmental protection core values to the visitors. On the other side of the webcam, DA.AI’s General Manager, James Lee, led 20 other staff to attend the video conference, not only sharing the company’s philosophies and achievements, but also providing Q&A opportunity to the US Tzu Chi volunteers to fully understand the company and DA.AI brand. Moreover, James Lee also presented the Compassion Technology Series products, including anti-punctual white shoes, solar power LED hat, and the solar power LED backpack, while US Tzu Chi volunteers felt amazed by the compassionate and blessing humanism spirits behind the designs.

As we have entered an era full of extreme disaster and climate change, it is almost impossible to predict the when and how the next disaster would strike. The American soil has been known for its fertility and rich in natural resources; however, also cannot escape the power of nature over the past decades. This is why Tzu Chi’s environmental protection promotion that Dharma Master Cheng Yen started over 20 years ago must be applied onto the land by local Tzu Chi volunteers, passing on the ideologies such as “purify from the origin,” and “eco-replacement of daily necessities” to each individual’s life choice and action, and reduce resource consumption.

DA.AI hosts over 300 of similar sharing presentations in Taiwan for the same purpose, wishing to influence more people to understand the mission of the company and brand, and to join the path of protecting our environment with us. Now that the communication bridge has been built oversea, we believe this is only the beginning, and that we will continue to send the message to the rest of the world, making Tzu Chi’s environmental protection promotion into a non-resting circle of love.
