DA.AI’s Eco Puncture-proof Casual Shoes and the Puncture-proof White Shoes are both made from recycled PET bottles, easy to clean while comes with anti-puncture functionality that is normally seen on specialized hiking or military shoes only. Moreover, the newly designed Eco Puncture-proof Casual Shoes received the 2017 Red Dot Product Design Award Honorable Mention with its unique features, and combines eco fabric with fly-knitting fabric to maximize breathability. In addition, it gives wearer powerful stability and safety with comfortable insole and puncture-proof protection!

DA.AI Technology designed its Compassion Technology Series originally to accommodate the volunteer’s needs under unimaginable disaster relief situations, now a pair of shoes that fit everyday life occasion. As Tzu Chi’s disaster relief footprint ranges from hot to severe climates, products including special fabric, material, and added function are needed to keep volunteer warm, dry, safe, and comfortable in unexpected circumstance, so the volunteers can put their full effort contributing in disaster relief mission not having to worry about their safety with complete protection from DA.AI eco products. Designer Yali Hsu said, “we finally design a pair of multi-functional shoes that combines love, caring, protection with international trendy design spirit of nature and sustainability consciousness with elegance.”

Dharma Master Cheng Yen once expressed, “seeing bodhisattvas in Taiwan and abroad diligently walking the Bodhisattva Path without worrying about time, money, or physical strength, all I have to offer in return is Dharma.” Being an environmental protective social enterprise, DA.AI’s innovative invention is following the same ideology to do our best to research and develop eco garments and accessories to accompany these diligent volunteers and eco-consensus end-users in return.
