Dharma interpretation is an important role of Tzu Chi activities, such as “sutra performance,” which helps to purify mindset and guide people to understand Dharma. One not only has to be familiar with the lyric and action, but also has spiritual understanding of Sutra and Dharma to truly perform well. In early 2017, DA.AI staffs participated in the musical sign language to depict the Sutra of the Medicine Buddha. Although living in a fast and busy pace, DA.AI staffs still managed to perform with gratefulness, respect, and love.

Apart from the sincere performance, costume and outfit is also quite important in sutra performance and event. Every May, Buddha Bathing event is a mindset purifying ceremony that demonstrates the beauty of Tzu Chi as a group, and guides participants to experience the love behind Tzu Chi environmental promoters. The public participants wore DA.AI’s Eco-Polo Shirt of the Cultivation Product Series, perhaps the most well-known product among the company’s product lines, and demonstrated great humanistic value. The company’s co-founder, Lin Jia He, once called it the “Dharma Blissfulness Apparel” for its meaningful purpose that involved hard works of Tzu Chi’s environmental promoters.

DA.AI staffs also performed the sutra adaptations of “Path of Diligence Drums and Bells” during the company’s year-end banquet, wearing the special blue vest. Sincerity, integrity, faith, honesty, compassion, and wisdom are the great treasures that we should adapt at work. DA.AI’s outfits, either the Eco-Polo Shirt or blue vest, are truly “Dharma Blissfulness Apparels.” When wearing these clothing or carrying eco accessories, we should expect ourselves to dedicate more in meaningful activities. People can then truly knock on the awaken bell of "Bodhi forest and Bodhisattva Path,” purify our mindset along the way, and bring harmony to the society.
