This year, participants from 54 nations demonstrated over 5,500 of their top design works in the world famous Red Dot Design Award. Well-known brands, such as Audi, LG, Cartel Furniture, Philips, Apples, Boss, etc., all joined the competition, and 39 international juries gathered in Germany Essen to evaluate each entry. A total of 91 individuals/groups in Taiwan won the 2017 award among global competitors, including DA.AI’s newly designed Eco Puncture-proof Casual Shoes that received the 2017 Red Dot Product Design Award Honorable Mention with its unique features and elegant design!

Designers this year emphasized their attentions on sustainable environment and nature, especially on their material choices, which obviously convey the spirit of their design works. Just like all of DA.AI Technology’s eco-products, this Eco Puncture-proof Casual Shoes is made from recycled PET bottles. However, it is more than just another eco accessory, for its rare functionality that is only seen on specialized military shoes. Adding in breathable elastic eco fabric, wrap-around and soft cushioning bottom, and stylish design, the shoes fit all occasion in everyday life. As Tzu Chi’s disaster relief footprint spreads over 90 countries and regions worldwide, DA.AI wishes to be a strong allied, not only developing needed hardware, but also with eco material to further guard human being and Mother Earth.
