A delegation from the Tzu Chi Kuala Lumpur & Selangor Chapter International School, including its Education Director, recently visited Taiwan and toured DAAI to gain deeper insight into the practical implementation of the circular economy, humanistic values, and compassionate technology.

This meaningful visit followed the school’s steady progress in the post-pandemic period. In 2025, Ms. Yang Mei-Ting, who had been mentored for many years by Ms. Tzu Lu, assumed the role of Acting Principal. To support the school’s future governance and long-term development, Dr. Huang Wen-Kuei, Strategic Advisor for Tzu Chi’s Education Mission in Indonesia, facilitated an exchange with Mr. Lee Kuo-Ching, a distinguished education leader, to share valuable perspectives and experience.

As part of the Taiwan program, the delegation visited the Jing Si Abode, Tzu Chi’s missions, and DAAI, gaining a deeper understanding of Tzu Chi’s spiritual heritage and humanitarian philosophy. Through firsthand experiences of environmental innovation and compassionate action, participants explored how sustainability, education, and humanistic values can be integrated into school leadership and community development.

DAAI hopes this exchange will inspire the delegation to bring back not only practical ideas for sustainable education, but also the spirit of compassion, integrity, and service. By strengthening international educational partnerships, DAAI remains committed to sharing Taiwan’s experience in sustainability and humanistic education, fostering a future where kindness, wisdom, and environmental responsibility continue to flourish across borders.
