垃圾變燃料Tzu Chi uses a rocket-oven modified by Taiwan's Industrial Technology Research Institute

In order to prepare hot meals for Typhoon Haiyan victims in Tacloban, Tzu Chi volunteers rely on gas ovens, powered by propane. However, often in a disaster area, access to natural gas may be cut off, and for such occasions, Tzu Chi uses a rocket-oven, modified by Taiwan’s Industrial Technology Research Institute.
