Solar Technology Illuminates Environmental Protection and Disaster Relief

(Photo by: DA.AI Technology Co., LTd.)Our daily life is highly related with crude oil, food, clothing, housing, transportation, education, which eventually leads to massive carbon emission, air pollution, greenhouse effect, and fever to Mother Earth. To counter this crisis, Taiwan government started utilizing renewable energies, such as solar, wind, biomass, in 2012. “One Million Sun Roof” project that took place in mid and southern Taiwan is a great example; solar power is completely natural and minimizes CO2 consumption, and has now been implemented on calculators, flashlights, vehicles and many other daily necessities.

DA.AI Technology also combined eco textile with solar technology, and launched Compassion Technology Series, including “Eco Solar LED Cap” and “Eco Solar LED Backpack,” to deal with insufficient power supply problem for Tzu Chi volunteers on disaster relief missions. The common idea of these two eco solar products is that they can both charge mobile phones, keeping communication open at all times. The Eco Solar Backpacks offers battery charging for other portable electronic devices, while the Eco Solar LED Cap shines the path, both front and back, for volunteers in dark disaster relief situation.

While human continues to consume Earth’s resources, “everyone has the responsibility to protect the planet,” starting from turning off light and reduce energy consumption. Let us all be the guardian of our planet, and prevent Earth’s resource from exhausting.
