R2R Awards Conveys Environmental Sustainability Spirit

Virgin or eco textile product will eventually become garbage. Taiwan is a large textile manufacturing country with its industry creating 150,000 to 200,000 tons of disposal fabric from yearly manufacturing, and causes a great impact to the environment. To promote sustainable waste management and fulfill global citizen’s duty, DA.AI not only develops recycled textile raw materials, but also turns recycled Re-PET fabric back into new eco products. We patented this technology Recycle to Recycle (R2R) Product Series, which includes traditional fleece garments and accessories as well as the latest R2R Sun Goggle.

The R2R anti-glare protective goggle comes from revived waste blankets or discarded textile leftovers, which aims to “prolong material life to cultivate blessing and wisdom.” Gray and yellow lenses of the R2R goggle is coated with Nano high-tech reflective technology, and comply with EN1836:2005 standard for blocking off UVA, UVB, and blue light. Gray lens is designed for sunny days, while yellow lens is suitable for driving at night, both for people wearing glasses or contact lenses. DA.AI not only developed R2R Series Products, patented it in Taiwan and mainland China, but also participated various international events to promote this sustainable concept.

After winning the 7th International Innovation and Invention Competition (IIIC) golden award in December 2016, DA.AI’s R2R Product Series also received silver from the 16th Malaysia Technology Expo (MTE) Invention & Innovation Awards in February 2017, gold award from Archimedes 2017, as well as the special honor award from the International Federation of Inventors Associations (IFIA) from Moscow in May 2017. DA.AI invents R2R products to contribute to environmental sustainability, as well as convey spirits of health and safety protection.
