Compassion Technology Series Turns Disaster Area into Utopia

After strong natural disaster strikes, Tzu Chi Foundation always forms disaster relief command center to gather information and respond rapidly. Tzu Chi International Humanitarian Aid Association (TIHAA) was formed in 2003 out of Dharma Master Cheng Yen’s compassion, seeing how human has caused global warming and extreme natural disasters on Earth. Master Cheng Yen personally evaluates and guides with the Tzu Chi disaster command team, and directs what aid to be provided to the survivors that best fits their current needs, and what action plan to be taken in terms of relief work.

In order to quickly respond to emergency situation, DA.AI combines eco textile material with renewable solar technology, and launched Compassion Technology Series to best aid the disaster relief volunteers in front line. The latest Eco Solar LED Multifunctional Backpack, Eco Emergency Backpack, and Eco Chair Backpack were invented under this reason, to assist our volunteers to carry supplies to the needy with ease, charge their personal electronic devices, get a quick rest, and secure themselves from unexpected melee attack or fallen drops from unsecure building.

The Eco Solar LED Multifunctional Backpack can turn from a disaster relief backpack to daily office backpack in seconds. The wider and thicker adjustable shoulder straps help to evenly distribute weight for maximize comfort. In addition, there is an alternative source of energy available whenever needed. DA.AI’s Eco Emergency/Chair Backpack can pack disaster supplies, including basic food and water for up to 3 days in case of an emergency. User are encouraged to prepare water, cash, flashlight, electricity, blanket, dry food, extra batteries, first aid kit, multipurpose tool, cell phone with charger, etc. into the backpack in advance to prepare for unexpected incident. Eco Emergency and Eco Chair Backpack are light-weight, and comes with durable aluminium structure and comfortable padded seat. Moreover, they passed SGS test to hold up to 120kg products or person to sit on, and can undergo 1136kgf of attacking force.
