DA.AI Technology’s Eco Shirts at the 2012 Five Boro Bike Tour in New York

New York City is one of the most densely populated cities in the United States, as well as one of the world’s largest metropolitan areas. New Yorkers are famous for their fast-paced life. In order to give the New Yorkers a “break” from their fast-paced life, Bike New York holds an annual Five Boro Bike Tour on the first Sunday in May. The TD Five Boro Bike Tour is America’s largest cycling event which gives participants the opportunity to bike through all five boroughs – a 40 mile, traffic-free ride for 32,000 cyclists. On May 6, 2012, the 35th annual Five Boro Bike Tour was held in New York City. This year, Tzu Chi’s Northeast Regional Office in New York joined the event for the first time. The Tzu Chi bike team, led by the Long Island Tzu Chi International Medical Association members, wore the eco shirts made by DA.AI Technology to show their support in reducing carbon footprints. The Communications Director of Bike New York, Mr. Brent Tongco, expressed that the purpose of this event is to allow all participants to fully enjoy the weather and streets of New York, as well as to give participants a unique and fun opportunity to bike through New York. Jiyi, ordered many T-shirts from DA.AI Technology’s website in March this year. Jiyi said, “I hope to promote Dharma Master Cheng Yen’s eco concepts at the event through wearing DA.AI Technology’s eco shirts.” One of the goals of DA.AI Technology is to encourage everyone to conserve energy and reduce carbon footprints in our daily life.
