The Made in Taiwan certification

As more and more counterfeit and pirated products saturate the market, consumers need to be extra careful when they go shopping. Taiwan's latest quality certification board is the MIT, or "Made in Taiwan". Da Ai Technology's eco-friendly line of clothing is MIT certified.

These polo shirts are made from recycled plastic bottles that give them their different colors. Green plastic bottles yield green shirts, while colorless ones are the raw material for the white shirts. None of these garments have been dye-treated.
The garments you have just seen are all manufactured by Da Ai Technology, which is already an eco-friendly brand. Now, it has been crowned with the Made in Taiwan certification.
MIT label promotion office manager, Lin Shufen: "When a product gets the MIT label, it means that it is made in Taiwan, and has also passed the tests of quality and functionality."

For textiles to be approved by the MIT certification, they have to be non-shrinking and non-fading, with safe dyes. The garments are also judged on how much they pill.
MIT label promotion office manager, Lin Shufen: "Textiles, like clothes and especially undergarments, come into direct contact with the human body, so the fabrics need to go through a basic safety test."

From polo shirts and aprons to scarves and capes, Da Ai Technology's 13 textile products have all been MIT-approved. The MIT certification board came into being in 2009, to encourage the manufacturing of quality products in Taiwan. To date, around 280 companies and nearly 7,000 products are proudly MIT-certified.

Applications for the MIT label will be processed by institutions such as Taiwan's Textile Federation and Industrial Technology Research Institute, on the basis of quality. Products must also be manufactured in Taiwan. Next time you go shopping, look for the MIT label because it guarantees safety and excellence.
市場上有越來越多的黑心商品，因此消費者在購買時，必須更加小心，台灣的最新的產品認證標誌，是MIT認證許可，例如由大愛感恩科技所製造的環保POLO衫、圍巾、圍裙以及披肩，都通過了MIT認證。
「這些polo衫都是由保特瓶回收再製的衣服，瓶子的顏色就是衣服的顏色，綠色寶特瓶製作過就是綠色上衣，而透明的寶特瓶就是白色polo衫的原料，布料都沒有經過染色。」
剛剛看到的衣物，都是由大愛感恩科技公司所研發製造，它除了現有的環保標章之外，又多了一個身份 MIT台灣製造。
「產品經過MIT認證，代表它是台灣原產地的認證，再來就是有通過功能性和安全性的驗證基準。」
「就紡織類產品而言，就是洗了之後會不會縮水褪色，用的是安全染料，還有起毛球的程度。」
「紡織品，特別是內衣的部份，都是跟人體有最直接的接觸，所以我們會針對人體安全，做一個基本的檢測。」
從Polo衫、圍裙、圍巾，到披風，大愛感恩科技的成衣類產品，有13項都通過MIT的認證許可，而這項MIT認證計劃的推動，自2009年開始，是為了鼓勵台灣製造的優質產品，目前共有280多家廠商，將近七千件產品獲得認證。
至於認證的申請，是由紡拓會、工研院等專業機構，進行品質驗證，產品必須都是在臺灣製造的，下次買東西的時候要注意看
有MIT認證標章的產品，不但品質好又安全。
