DA.AI’s Green Design Model Promotes Innovation and Prolongs Blessing

Being one of the pioneers of environmental protection and public welfare corporation with a “Great Love to all living being, and grateful for Earth” ideology, DA.AI Technology continues to devote in the field of Cradle to Cradle (C2C) design model to fulfill its mission to protect the planet, and has recently received the C2C Innovation Design Award from Taiwan EPA. The award is not only a recognition of the company’s dedication in C2C research, but also a promotion of DA.AI’s work in corporate social responsibility and green enterprise.The Cradle to Cradle design model focus on learning from nature and regenerating resources from the beginning of a product life cycle. The 3 principles, waste is new resource, use regenerated energy, and promoting variety makes C2C unique, are the reason that Taiwan EPA established this award to recognize corporate following such environmental protective design model. DA.AI’s gray eco blanket, out of total of 30 applications, was one of the 8 products to receive this meaningful recognition.
The award evaluates each candidate based on 5 principles and 6 criteria, including product safety, recycle-able level, carbon emission and water usage during manufacturing, socially responsible, green concept, innovative design, aesthetic, green packaging, and more. DA.AI’s grey eco blanket passed all these examinations, and eventually received the C2C honor, automatically put the brand on the same level with many of the global leading green companies.DA.AI’s Design Director, Cathy Hong, received the award from the hands of Environmental Protection Administration Director Wei in the ceremony, where Director Wei pointed out that C2C is an idea of “re-design” in order to achieve the ultimate zero waste goal. Cathy Hong further added “only with the help of over 200,000 selfless Tzu Chi environmental promoters and numerous cooperative partners, DA.AI is able to achieve what we do today, and return all the net profit back for public welfare use. Thus, DA.AI is a platform combining environmental protection and charity, and with a mission to promote corporate social responsibility with unique green product design and manufacturing model.” The company will continue on this path to reach the ultimate “zero waste” goal.
