DA.AI’s Recycling Spirit and Process into Malaysian Volunteers’ Hearts

Through DA.AI’s Eco Concept Store and laboratory tour in Neihu, as well as Oriental Resources Development’s factory in Taoyuan, the visitors experienced the unique recycling and reproduction system in person, and wanted to bring it back to Malaysia to help environmental protection promotion.

Plastic bottle is not easy to deal with, for it damages the incinerator when burned, and clots gutters if we just throw away. Thus, DA.AI works together with Oriental Resources Development, and over 50 other cooperative partners that share the same intention to protect the Earth with DA.AI, to recycle these troublesome, yet useful, resources, and make them into high quality DA.AI yarn, which eventually becomes designful textile products to prolong their value once again.

(Photo by: Amy Chen)“Tzu Chi’s recycling station is more than a working station for the environmental promoters, but also a place to purify their hearts.” Through combination of touring, presentation, and live fashion show, the DA.AI’s General Manager, James Lee, shared with the Malaysian volunteers the touching stories behind the Eco Concept Store, laboratory, and the DA.AI brand.

Malaysian Tzu Chi volunteer Lee Ke Shan wishes that Malaysia can be as thorough as Taiwanese volunteers in promoting environmental protection, and also strongly agrees with DA.AI’s idea of “good to recycle, even better to refuse.” Another volunteer, Lou Qing Jie, further expresses his recognition of DA.AI’s action to protect the Earth by reviving resource and reducing consumption, and wishes to duplicate such process when returning home.

In the end, with 100% of its net proceed fully donated for charity use, DA.AI wants to pass on the ideology of “clean from the origin, environmental protection refined,” and lead every Earth citizen to love the planet together.
