DA.AI Carries the Wisdom of Buddha into the Living World

The Buddha is a saint who reached enlightenment and understood the truth of the universe. To present such magnificent story, the Light of Asia Foundation from Sri Lanka produced a movie on the Buddha’s life, and won many international awards. This work of art aims to pass on the authentic story for the world to learn about the founder of Buddhism and his teachings from more than 2,500 year ago.Siddhartha the Buddha is the true story of Siddhartha, once a prince who chose to leave his wealthy life to pursue the truth of the universe, and his path of reaching enlightenment and eventually becoming the Buddha. The actor, Gagan Malik, was a Hindu who turned to Buddhism after playing the role and felt the Great Love and spirit of the Buddha. He was also accompanied by the producer, Navin Gooneratne, to visit Dharma Master Cheng Yen in Haulien to learn about her practice of living Buddhism.
Continuing on this trip to Taiwan, the movie team also visited DA.AI Technology in Taipei to see Tzu Chi’s work in turning resources into valuable textile products. Grasping every chance to promote the company’s ideology, DA.AI’s English team thoroughly explained the core values throughout the tour of DA.AI’s Eco Concept Store and laboratory. The movie team was amazed by the fabulous achievements that the company has accomplished, and wished to bring the concept and process back to Sri Lanka.The actor Gagan Malik said, “I think wearing eco-product is a great idea!” While others call these recyclable materials garbage, DA.AI turns them into valuable and beautiful products. He also believed that celebrities should help promote such idea, and draw others into the trend. The movie producer also supported our idea with action, and purchased several products as gifts for his family at home.
Finally, Gagan Malik said, “I love Tzu Chi” in Chinese, and “what Tzu Chi and DA.AI is doing is great, I gives my best wishes to them.” Being a part of Tzu Chi and bearing the mission of environmental protection, DA.AI wishes to pass on the ideology as far and broad as possible for everyone in the world to join together in protecting Earth.
