Queensland Ambassador Visiting DA.AI and Seeing Humanism Spirit

(Photo by: Howard Chiu)During Tzu Chi’s 2014 Buddha Bathing Ceremony rehearsal in Taipei, the Australia Queensland Ambassador Quentin Bai was attracted by Tzu Chi volunteers’ hard work and detailed decoration of the stage and surrounding, and approached volunteer Chen Shi Fang to learn about the this unique Buddhism charity organization. This is the starting point of Mr. Bai’s great impression of Tzu Chi Foundation.

 Tzu Chi volunteers Chen Shi Fang and husband, Cai Feng Ci, not only donated land in Taoyuan to become what is now known as Xin An recycling station, but also their strong recognition of Tzu Chi and practical participation have turned recycling humanism spirit into action. Chen Shi Fang also connected Ambassador Bai with Tzu Chi, and introduced him of Dharma Master Cheng Yen’s ideology. Moreover, when heard about the background of DA.AI Technology, which was established by 5 of Master’s disciples with selfless intention, Ambassador Bai’s interest grew strong and eventually visited DA.AI recently.

(Photo by: Howard Chiu)“There is a Clean Up Australia Day activity in the country to promote environmental protection,” Ambassador Bai shared with us during his visit to DA.AI, “but what you are doing here in Taiwan, especially with the Tzu Chi environmental promoters working day and night selflessly is a combination of environmental protection with love. They are the true demonstrators of “you don’t make money, but you feel happy” principle, and that is very touching.”
