The Taiwan Textile Monthly was first published in 1996. It is a professional Chinese textile magazine for readers in Taiwan, Hong Kong, mainland China, Vietnam, Indonesia and Thailand. The magazine offers instant and rich textile information including fiber, yarn, fabric, dye technique, and finishing mills, to update garment manufacturers, retailers, research institutes, and textile-related academia with the latest global textile news and opportunity of new business linking the global market.
The 2017 Energy Globe Award National Winner of Taiwan went to DA.AI’s Recycle to Recycle (R2R) Project for the company’s effort to deal with leftover fabric throughout production. It is one of the biggest environmental problems caused by modern textile industry, while the leftovers are usually burned or taken away by waste management company for treatment.
DA.AI Chairman, Walter Huang, attended the award ceremony in mid-October 2017 to receive this honor. “DA.AI’s R2R technique uses none of the Earth's gasoline resource, because everything comes from second round recyclables.” The award jury and Austrian business representative Mr. Christian Fuchssteiner also praised DA.AI’s efforts on environmental protection which contributes to environmental sustainability.
