Taiwan Panorama Praises DA.AI’s Circular Economy and Environmental Sustainability

"This report investigates people who contribute to Taiwan's environmental protection. The interview not only will include government and business institutes, but also highlights a civil society, individual, and NGO groups from different perspectives." William Kazer, an editor/journalist for Reuters, Xinhua Finance News, and The Wall Street Journal, shared with us while visiting DA.AI Technology on February 7th, 2017. He was invited by the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) to write a column about Taiwan's environmental protection issues in the Taiwan Panorama magazine.

"Referred by the Environmental Protection Administration (EPA) staff, who recommended me that you (DA.AI Technology) are very representative, and that I should go and see how Tzu Chi is doing, so here I am." Kazer learned that many Tzu Chi environmental volunteers are retired elders, and realized that Tzu Chi environmental stations serve many functions. DA.AI staff, Tom Yang, further presented in-depth philosophy of the company, such as "not to promote consumption, but rather environmental protection ideology and touching stories of environmental promoters," and that elderly people find their life value while practicing environmental protection. Not only they can “do something,” but also make friends. Through daily practice, elders purified their hearts and retrieved their “second lives.”

"It’s marvelous to encourage people to have eco-concept, not to waste," Kazer said, "I am pleased to see products here with high economic value, and that people are willing to buy." He also admired DA.AI for its disaster relief blankets contributed in international relief mission, in addition, all of DA.AI’s eco products promotes circular economy and environmental sustainability. Kazer added, "I feel that DA.AI has involved two significant humanitarian ideas: one is environmental protection, and the other is Great Love within every product. I thank you for letting me know what you are doing."
