As we are at the beginning of 2017, Tzu Chi Foundation is holding winter relief distributions as usual all over Taiwan and worldwide. The light green DA.AI Eco Disaster Relief Bag containing supplies always accompanies Tzu Chi volunteers while sending love to communities after communities. Volunteers prepare year-end reunion banquets for families and elders in need to join, who will receive a bag of supplies from the foundation as a token of blessing over the Chinese New Year.

The founder of Tzu Chi Foundation, Dharma Master Cheng Yen, always reminds volunteers warmly, “the package should be packed solidly and rigorously so that the recipients will receive with joy, as you will also build a joyful connection with them.” Volunteers prepare these “blessing and wisdom” packs full of daily necessities, including instant noodles, grain powder, Fu Hui Zhen porridge, soda crackers, nuts, towels, toothbrushes, etc. to help the recipients throughout Chinese New Year and cold winter. The Eco Relief Bag itself is made by recycled PET bottles collected by environmental protectors all over Taiwan.

All items contained in the eco-friendly bag not only convey Earth protection message, but also send Tzu Chi’s warm love with sincere blessing to people in need. “Bodhisattvas are not idols made of wood; real Bodhisattvas are people who eat, talk, work, and relieve suffering in times of need." Stated in Jing-Si Aphorism and demonstrated in reality, all volunteers truly deliver packs of blessing to poor and needy in communities, and provide love to the world.
