The production team in Business Planning department shared their experience in DaAi Radio program, “Environmental Idea,” in the making of this animation.

DA.AI’s animation team started their origin idea as a mini animation, but ended up an award winning animation to spread C2C concept under limited production time. Most of the team, including Cao Shuhao, Jiang Uwen, Xia Yu Lin and Ou Mei Yun, are in their 20’s. These fresh young minds started with brainstorming and screen scripts, followed by lots of hand drawings. They focused on love and respect for natural environment and invite people to protect Earth by creating “Goodness’ and Evils’ dialogues” between recyclables, and gave each “waste material” a vivid characteristic.

The animation educates the public the idea of C2C design model, with each waste character identified as “misplaced city mine,” and made a wise choice to be recycled. The animation clearly conveys C2C spirit of “waste is nutrient, renewable energy and its diversity.” Uwen said “we countered many difficulties along the way, and are all very grateful to have this opportunity to participate in the contest. Although our team members are not animation professionals, this C2C award is definitely a glory that we achieved together!”
