DA.AI’s Sustainable Material Management & Cradle to Cradle

The 4th International Conference on Sustainable Materials Management and Resource Sustainability Technology Exhibition is a joint fair organized by the Environmental Protection Administration (EPA) of the Executive Yuan, together with the US Environmental Protection Agency. It was held from October 26th to 27th at the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park in Taipei.

In a conference room, topics of Sustainable Materials Management and Circular Economy were flying in discussion, which attendees were trying to find ways to solve problems of resource consumption and environment after reaching consensus. The workshop is aimed at fulfilling the national resources sustainable objectives and promoting circular economy by exchanging national experience in sustainable development of materials management. Besides international workshop, the event also included an outdoor exhibition with five themes, including Sustainable Material Management (SMM) & Cradle to Cradle (C2C) hall, recycled aggregates application museum, coffee living museum, and dream Movie Theater.

DA.AI participated in the exhibition in the C2C hall with eco fabric and daily accessories used in bedroom, bathroom, and living room, including Eco Stationery Series, Compassion Technology Series and our R2R Series. The C2C concept learns from nature, and positions everything as a nutrient that allows all material to circulate in a closed loop. DA.AI focuses on product’s ecological benefits more than their eco efficiency, which drew attention from officials and visitors. Mr. Li Ying Yuan, the Minister of Taiwan EPA, even picked up DA.AI’s stationery products and praised that DA.AI is worthy of admiration, since that, other than disaster relief blankets, DA.AI also developed a lot of practical eco products that contributed to environment sustainability.
