As electronic waste is deemed as harmful industrial waste by Taiwan’s EPA, all vehicles handling such waste are tracked by GPS to prevent illegal dumping. However, such a system is not bullet proof as plenty of harmful waste is still being dumped illegally throughout Taiwan. We find out now how the EPA is dealing with the problem and the loopholes still found within its waste management.
