Nantou, Taiwan is the hometown of the late pilot, Liao Jianzong. Yesterday, local volunteers visited the family, bringing with them Master Cheng Yen’s condolences and blessings. During his lifetime, Liao often encouraged his parents to take part in Tzu Chi activties and recycling efforts. Both parents said, they are proud to have a son like Liao.
