With gratitude to Deputy Executive Director Lin of the Ministry of Health and Welfare’s Medical Affairs and Welfare Foundation for bringing together this meaningful connection, sustainable healthcare experts from Taiwan and around the world visited DAAI today for an exchange on the future of sustainable healthcare.

The guests shared perspectives from a range of areas, including global healthcare decarbonization, circular approaches to medical waste, medical education, and public health in Taiwan. Together with DAAI, they explored how Taiwan can contribute its experience and practical solutions to the global development of sustainable healthcare.

DAAI General Manager Lee Ting-Ming also introduced Tzu Chi’s Four Missions, along with the origins, mission, and vision behind DAAI. DAAI’s work goes beyond resource recycling and technological innovation. Through environmental practices infused with humanistic care, DAAI hopes to inspire the goodness within every person and bring sustainability into everyday life.

As we move toward a net-zero future, DAAI believes that technology can keep resources in circulation, while kindness can bring greater harmony to society. Net zero begins with the heart; when individual acts of goodness come together, step by step, we can move toward a more compassionate and harmonious world.

Through this exchange, DAAI hopes to bring together international expertise and Taiwan’s practical experience, turning sustainable healthcare from an aspiration into concrete action while working together to safeguard life, health, and the Earth.
