DAAI remains committed to its guiding vision of “serving as a living source for Tzu Chi’s sustainability and embracing the mission of purifying hearts.” This vision echoes the spirit of Dharma Master Yin Shun’s teaching, “Purify the mind first; place benefiting others above all,” while carrying forward Dharma Master Cheng Yen’s aspiration to “work for Buddhism and for all sentient beings.”

Beginning with the purification of our own hearts and putting compassion into action for the benefit of others, DAAI seeks to make Buddhist teachings more than something to be heard—to make them something that can be seen, experienced, practiced, and integrated into everyday life.

Looking ahead, DAAI hopes to bring together the strength of Tzu Chi’s four missions—charity, medicine, education, and culture—as well as partners from across society. Through the integration of technology and humanistic values, compassion can become tangible; through environmental action, love and kindness can be carried forward.

By sharing Tzu Chi’s experience and Taiwan’s spirit of compassionate technology with the world, DAAI hopes to expand the reach of Tzu Chi’s soft power, creating a deeper and broader cycle of goodness and positive impact across communities and around the globe.
