Five volunteer leaders from Malaysia, who have been actively promoting the Tzu Chi × PaGamO Environmental Disaster Prevention Challenge, visited DAAI prior to concluding their multi-day study trip in Taiwan. Accompanied by members of Tzu Chi’s Environmental Protection Team, the visit became not only an exchange of experiences, but also a heartfelt gathering that transcended borders and united shared goodwill.

The visiting volunteers expressed deep admiration for DAAI’s steadfast commitment to its mission and its dedication to cross-disciplinary design and innovation. In particular, they were moved by the sharing of Mr. Lee Ding-Ming, who highlighted the compassion and intention behind each product. Beyond witnessing advancements in environmental technology, the delegation experienced the profound humanistic values that give these innovations both depth and warmth.

This meaningful exchange further strengthened the delegates’ aspirations upon returning home — to bring Taiwan’s soft power, Tzu Chi’s environmental, and the seeds of kindness and compassion into schools across Malaysia. By fostering environmental and disaster prevention education at a young age, they hope to inspire more students to care for the Earth, cherish resources, and cultivate goodwill — working together toward a more sustainable future.
