A delegation led by the Mayor of Poznań, Poland, accompanied by city officials from departments including public health, urban development, and social services, recently visited Tzu Chi’s missions under the guidance of Tzu Chi volunteers Lucas and Monica. The visit aimed to deepen understanding and explore potential collaboration with DAAI, with a shared vision of advancing environmental sustainability in Poland.

During the exchange, Mr. Li Ding-Ming of DAAI shared the core philosophy of “Purity at the Source,” emphasizing that recycling is not merely a process of material recovery, but a return to the origin of a single wholesome intention. By integrating technology with humanistic values, DAAI seeks to not only regenerate resources, but also sustain the continuous circulation of compassion.

Echoing the teachings of Venerable Master Cheng Yen — “All religions are rooted in love; when hearts are open, they unite, when narrow, they divide” — the visit fostered meaningful connections across cultures and nations. Through this exchange, hearts from different backgrounds came together through shared goodwill, walking forward with a common purpose.

It is hoped that such interactions will continue to inspire the innate kindness within each individual, strengthening collective efforts to care for the Earth and contribute to a more sustainable future.
