DAAI welcomed a heartfelt humanistic lecture today, featuring Da Ai TV anchor and senior media professional Ms. Cheng Chia-Chi, who shared her personal journey through the media industry and the pivotal turning points of her life. Together with DAAI colleagues, she invited reflection on a fundamental question: What is true impact?

From her early career as a mainstream news reporter, anchor, and editor-in-chief to her later role as a media leader, Ms. Cheng witnessed countless major events while also navigating the peaks and transitions of her professional life. In her sharing, she spoke with sincerity and warmth about a defining moment — when the noise of the world gradually faded, and through a convergence of circumstances, she picked up the microphone of Da Ai TV. Choosing love as her core value, she embarked on a path of communication that resonated more deeply with the human heart.

Ms. Cheng reflected that genuine change in life rarely comes from dramatic upheaval, but rather from a series of small, conscious choices — choosing to think one step further, to do a little more. Whether through the attentive companionship of volunteer guides or the thoughtful hospitality shown to visitors, she came to understand that true impact is never the light of a single individual, but the shared brilliance created when people uplift one another.

Through stories grounded in compassion and lived experience, the lecture offered a quiet yet powerful reminder: impact begins with intention, and grows through collective care.
