The second-phase flood relief distribution in Spain was successfully completed today. Tzu Chi volunteers opened the event by sharing the touching story of the “Bamboo Bank Era,” illustrating how small acts of kindness—beginning with just a few coins—can accumulate into great compassion. Volunteers also presented eco-friendly sky lanterns, symbolizing enduring hope and the strength to rise again after disaster.

During the event, many flood-affected residents were moved to tears while singing “Love and Care.” Their emotions reflected both the pain of surviving a disaster and the comfort of being supported and seen. In this circle of kindness and compassion, hearts were deeply connected.
