On the path of safeguarding life, healthcare extends beyond professional expertise — it embodies a profound commitment to humanistic care. Hualien Tzu Chi Hospital recently hosted the “Sustainable Development ESG Forum,” bringing together medical professionals and participants from various sectors to reflect on how healthcare can respond not only to clinical needs, but also to broader responsibilities toward society, the environment, and future generations.

Guided by the principles of “patient-centered care” and “respect for life,” the forum embraced the vision: “With the original aspiration to protect all beings, and with love carried forward through generations.” The gathering sought to unite the collective strength of the medical community and society, fostering collaboration along a path defined by sustainability and compassion.
