DAAI recently visited Taipei American School to engage in an interactive sustainability exchange with students and faculty. The session introduced practical experiences in circular economy development and recycled material innovation, offering students insight into how environmental concepts are translated into real-world action.

Through case studies and open dialogue, students explored the transformative journey “from waste to regeneration,” gaining a clearer understanding of how resource circulation can be implemented in everyday life. The sharing highlighted innovative applications of textiles made from recycled PET bottles, demonstrating how discarded materials can be reimagined into functional and meaningful products.

Beyond technological innovation, DAAI also encouraged students to begin with simple daily choices — reducing plastic use and making mindful consumption decisions — reinforcing the idea that sustainability is not merely a concept, but a practice that can be embodied through action.

The lively Q&A session reflected the younger generation’s strong interest and critical thinking around environmental issues. Through campus engagement, DAAI hopes to nurture seeds of sustainability within international learning communities, empowering more young people to become globally minded citizens who care for the planet and act with purpose.
