After the event concluded, two international lecturers from the International Hospital Federation (IHF) were invited by Deputy Superintendent Lin Ming-Nan to visit DA.AI Technology and the Tzu Chi Humanities Campus. What began as a continuation of professional exchange unexpectedly transformed into a deeply moving cultural experience.

The guests shared that beyond Taiwan’s strong efforts in advancing healthcare sustainability, they were profoundly touched by the values that Tzu Chi has cultivated over decades—environmental protection, humanistic care, gratitude, respect, and love.

They noted that while systems, tools, and policies are essential in the global pursuit of net-zero emissions, resilience, and health transformation, it is ultimately the direction of the human heart and the power of culture that allow sustainability to endure and take root. At Tzu Chi, they witnessed sustainability not as documents or indicators, but as a way of life practiced with sincerity.

During the visit, the lecturers were deeply moved and remarked, “The power to change the world begins with the heart.” When international methodologies meet Taiwan’s warmth and humanistic values, healthcare sustainability becomes more complete, more compassionate, and more alive.

DAAI Technology Honored for “Reduced Marine Microfiber Release Series”

DAAI Technology has been recognized at the Taiwan Excellence Awards for its Reduced Marine Microfiber Release Series. This achievement not only affirms the product line’s excellence in R&D, design, quality, and marketing, but also highlights a core belief: technology can—and should—do more for the planet.

Marine microfibers largely originate from textile washing. These invisible fibers flow into the ocean, are ingested by marine life, and eventually return to our dining tables. In response to this silent threat, DAAI Technology continues to promote vegetarianism while taking compassionate design as its driving force and technology as its tool. The awarded innovation reduces microfiber release by up to 50%, helping ease the burden on the ocean from the very source.

Each DAAI product carries the love of Tzu Chi volunteers and the dedication of the R&D team. This award is not only an encouraging recognition, but also a gentle reminder to persist in protecting our oceans and safeguarding future generations.
