嘉義外溪州環保教育站，因向環保站旁的果園借用圍牆，掛設『慈濟四十四周年靜態展』海報，而牽起果園園主楊瑞香與慈濟的因緣。現在只要楊瑞香有空，就會跟先生來環保站做資源回收，與慈濟志工一起為大地付出。 Read more

環保志工謝盡妹今年七十歲，家住台中縣石岡鄉梅子村，距離土牛環保站有四公里多，每週一的下午一點半，她雖然路程最遠，但常常是第一個到達環保站的志工。丈夫黃運發在四年多前往生，黃運發生前已完成慈誠培訓，卻在受證前幾天，因外出到砂石場打工發生意外。

台北縣新店地區環保志工馮建勝，逾十年來都用鼓掌地雙手愛護地球。他的父親馮良和也曾是一位環保志工，卻在兩年前因為心肌梗塞成為植物人。打從父親病倒的那一刻起，馮建勝就決定要把父親不能做的那一份，一起努力做下去。
