環保志工謝盡妹今年七十歲，家住台中縣石岡鄉梅子村，距離土牛環保站有四公里多，每週一的下午一點半，她雖然路程最遠，但常常是第一個到達環保站的志工。丈夫黃運發在四年多前往生，黃運發生前已完成慈誠培訓，卻在受證前幾天，因外出到砂石場打工發生意外。
