Venerable Jeong Kwan of South Korea recently visited Taiwan to inaugurate the “29 Illuminations” exhibition at Huashan 1914 Creative Park and the Tzu Chi 60th Anniversary Humanistic Exhibition. During her visit, she was also invited to a special vegetarian gathering, joining renowned advocates of plant-based cuisine to promote healthy living and environmental sustainability.

Accompanied by Mr. Yao Jing-Jin, Venerable Jeong Kwan and her interpreter visited DAAI to gain a deeper understanding of the company’s achievements in resource circulation and compassionate technology. From recycled materials transformed into practical products for daily life, every innovation reflected the integration of environmental stewardship and humanistic values, earning the Venerable's sincere admiration.

As a gesture of friendship and blessing, DAAI presented Venerable Jeong Kwan with a traditional Chinese-style scarf and a pair of indoor slippers, warmly offered by Ms. Su Mei-Ling. These thoughtful gifts conveyed Tzu Chi’s spirit of compassion and hospitality, making this cross-cultural encounter even more meaningful.

Through exchanges such as these, DAAI hopes to continue building bridges across cultures, sharing the values of sustainability, compassion, and respect, and allowing the spirit of kindness to flourish beyond borders.
