The 20th China International Clothing & Accessories Fair (CHIC 2012) took place from March 26-29, 2012 at the New China International Exhibition Center in Beijing. Ten members of the Taiwan Garment Association, including DA.AI Technology Co., Ltd. (DA.AI), Li An Garment, and TEXMA jointly exhibited at the overseas hall. Environmental protection is a very important topic globally. To demonstrate the Taiwan garment industry’s dedication to protecting our Mother Earth, the Taiwan Garment Association’s design of its half opened booth was divided into two sections: one for the vendors and the other to showcase its efforts towards environmental protection.

The CHIC 2012 fair in Beijing gave DA.AI the chance to showcase its newest and most innovative eco-friendly apparels and textiles. Since its establishment, DA.AI continues to work on research and development of new functions for various types of recycled textile raw materials. By putting Master Cheng Yen’s concept of “Coexists with the Earth” into action and transforming the love of the recycling volunteers into concrete products, DA.AI hopes to protect our Mother Earth from further damages.

The eco brand, DA.AI, originates from Taiwan and looks out to the world with a global perspective. “Eco-friendly, functional, elegant and simple” are DA.AI’’’s core requisites when making its products. DA.AI strives to make the entire production process, from recycled PET bottles to recycled polyester, 100% eco-friendly. DA.AI adheres to its core values of “3C” - Culture of Environmental Protection, Cycle of Love, and Contribution to Society. By combining the love and dedication of Tzu Chi recycling volunteers and the help of entrepreneurs with professional expertise, DA.AI transforms recycled PET bottles into recycled flakes, PET chips,  recycled polyester yarn and eventually, eco-friendly products. 100% of DA.AI’s net proceeds are donated to the Tzu Chi Foundation for disaster relief and other charitable work around the world.

For the past 3 years, DA.AI Technology has not only developed many practical and aesthetic eco-friendly apparel and everyday life products, but it also follows the principles of a true green social enterprise where all stages of production, from obtaining raw materials to manufacturing and trading of the products are environmentally friendly. DA.AI has received numerous certifications, such as the Carbon Footprint Certification and Water Footprint Certification from TÜV Rheinland Group, Germany. With these certifications, DA.AI hopes to bring reassurance to its customers and encourage more people to work towards conserving energy and reducing carbon emissions.
