It is Taiwan's first green social enterprise, and also the world's first NPC (Non Profit Company) that contributes 100% of its profits to help the needy around the world. In addition to implementing Master Cheng Yen’s concept of “Coexist with the Earth,” the company’s ultimate goal is to become an international benchmark for green enterprises.

On December 29, 2011, DA.AI Technology introduced its first DA.AI Eco Concept Store in Taipei. The store has been “upgraded” from a service center to a DA.AI Eco Concept Store, and it is located next to the Tzu Chi Foundation branch office in Taipei. The store interior is designed to be green and simple, decorated with recycled materials such as paper tubes. Through the store’s interior design, visitors can clearly see the concept of environmental protection that Master Cheng Yen is trying to convey to the public, as well as the core values of DA.AI Technology – “Culture of Environmental Protection, Cycle of Love and Contribution to Society.”

Besides the recycled materials used for the interior, environmental achievement data are also marked on the wall. From early 2009 to October, 2011, a total of 180 million PET bottles have been recycled, reducing carbon dioxide emission by 4 million kilograms and conserving 15 million liters of water, and 89,000 liters of crude oil. These numbers are evidences of DA.AI Technology’s ongoing mission of coexisting with the Earth.

DA.AI Technology’s eco-products have received numerous international recognitions. For example, its Eco Blanket has received Carbon Footprint Certification from TÜV Rheinland Group, Germany, and its gray Eco Blanket (used for international relief purpose) has received Water Footprint Certification from TÜV Rheinland Group. Generally, the amount of water consumption for producing a cotton T-shirt is 2,700 liters. Although DA.AI’s gray Eco Blanket is much bigger and heavier than a cotton T-shirt, the blanket consumes only 643 liters of water during the production process, therefore conserving water resources on our planet.
