Nominated for the Taiwan Presidential Innovation Award, DA.AI Technology aims to become the Role Model of Sustainability

To improve the competitiveness in innovation among the world, Taiwanese President Ma summited a governmental committee, and established the first Taiwan Presidential Innovation Award in 2013. Corporations from different fields, including innovative marketing, product design and development, etc., were invited to participate in this competition, and help bringing creative thinking into mainstream industries.

After a set of thorough and rigorous examination, DA.AI Technology was selected within the 20 final nominees out of over 200 applicants for the award. The examination standard included: (1) The ability in innovation and competitiveness within its industry, (2) The actual result of the company’s innovation, (3) The ability to upgrade technicality and attract local and foreign investments, (4) Innovation has its positive affection in people’s lives, (5) Innovation helps with the industry and the country’s sustainability.

With over 5,600 recycling stations and 200,000 regular and occasional environmental promoters in Taiwan, DA.AI Technology is not only unique in method of operation within its industry, but also in a sense that it passes on the Great Love (DA.AI) to different corners of the world together with over 50 co-operating partners. Developing and designing products out of recycled plastic bottles creates an environmental protection platform for everyone to participate, and the fact that net profit is donated back to Tzu Chi Foundation for worldwide charity purpose writes an even more touching story. Every product from DA.AI Technology has its story behind, which then has its humanism and educational purposes in both eco-protection and charity. Having such company proves that Taiwan is not only capable in innovation, but also in humanism. By being nominated in the Presidential Innovation Award, DA.AI Technology is encouraged to continue on the path, and hope to bring people a better life not just in a materialism way, but also the spiritual direction. Ultimately, DA.AI Technology wishes to work together with all fields, and become the role model of sustainability.
