Moving to China, Tzu Chi was first established in Kunshan City, Jiangsu Province in 2003, with the help of a few Taiwanese businessmen. Since then, the organization`s seeds of love has flourished and now has nearly 500 local volunteers.

Recently, at the 10th anniversary celebration, Tzu Chi volunteers vowed to encourage more people to practice recycling and together turn the city into a better place.

在中國，2003年開始，在台商的幫忙，慈濟在江蘇省昆山市，開始投入社區，至此慈濟在當地漸漸茁壯，目前有約五百位當地志工，最近10週年的慶祝活動上，慈濟志工發願，要鼓勵更多人做環保，讓昆山市成為更美好的地方。
