Walking Through a Quarter Century—Dalín Tzu Chi Hospital’s 25 Years of Compassionate Care

For 25 years, Dalín Tzu Chi Hospital has been deeply rooted in the Yunlin–Chiayi–Tainan region, safeguarding the health of local residents as if caring for family. This year, the hospital not only received recognition from the Ministry of Health and Welfare, being elevated to a “Quasi-Medical Center,” but also became a green model in the healthcare sector by advancing sustainability and environmental stewardship.

Although the 25th Anniversary Charity Run was canceled due to a typhoon, the Dalín team did not slow their pace. Donning DAAI eco-friendly apparel, they launched charity sales, raised funds with love, and joined in post-disaster cleanup efforts, standing side by side with affected communities. This balance of resilience and compassion shows that “protecting life” goes far beyond the hospital wards—it extends into every corner of daily life.

Looking ahead, Dalín Tzu Chi Hospital will continue to walk with the people of Yunlin, Chiayi, and Tainan, serving as both a steadfast guardian of life and a pioneer in sustainable healthcare. With compassion and wisdom, the hospital is committed to writing ever-lasting chapters of care—for society, for the environment, and for every living being.
