DA.AI, Winner of the 2016 Red Dot Communication Design Award

In this year’s Red Dot Communication Design Award, participants from 46 nations showed their best in a total of 21 categories, including e-commerce and retail design categories for the first time ever. Among these participants, DA.AI applied with its newly developed Heart Purifying Mobile Application under APPs category, Recycle to Recycle (R2R) under corporate social responsibility (CSR), Eco Concept Store under retail space, Corporate Film under corporate identity, as well as two side projects. Winners were finally announced few days ago, and with great honor, we are glad to inform you all that DA.AI’s mobile application is one of the 2016 Red Dot Communication Award winners.

“The communication design award is competitive in recent year,” as Professor Dr. Peter Zec, founder and CEO of Red Dot, stressed, “the increasingly international nature of our competition is proof of its growing reputation in the global design world. I am very proud that we have reached our aim of establishing a cross-border platform for good designs, creative ideas and the latest campaigns.” Among this year’s jury, experts from 26 industries over 13 countries, all shared influential characteristics, helped coming up with the winner’s list. It was a competitive year for the Red Dot Communication Design Award, making it even more precious for DA.AI to receive this honor in 2016.

As the DA.AI App UI designer Tom Yang shared, “design is one of the best methods to solve existing social problems, to create aesthetic and functional values to society, or even, to bring inner joy and peace to our hearts. Winning the Red Dot Communication Award is certainly recognition, the DA.AI design team, including App co-design Antonia Chen, will continue to dedicate our expertise in making the world a better place.” With humanitarianism and environmental protection concepts, DA.AI is very delightful that this APP can be seen by the world, and truly fulfills its purpose of heart purification.
