Since Tzu Chi began promoting environmental protection in 1990, people from all walks of life have dedicated themselves to the cause. There are currently more than 80,000 Tzu Chi recycling volunteers in Taiwan working together for the sake of the planet. Through giving themselves, many volunteers have also found good friends who share a common interest and new meaning in life.
自從慈濟開始推動環保，來自社會各界人士，投入環保志業，目前有超過八萬位慈濟環保志工，在台灣合心保護地球，除了保護環境，許多志工也交了有共同志向的朋友，並且找到人生新價值。
