In today`s look at dangers that threaten Taiwan, we will be tackling two problems and both of them are man-made disasters. Later, we will look into the problem of land subsidence in Yunlin, which is due to illegal pumping of groundwater. As the land sinks, the Taiwan High Speed Rail that passes through will either have to slow down or be derailed. But first, we give Taiwan`s Hsuehshan Tunnel a health exam and see how road users should behave in case of an emergency.
