Two years ago, Lin Guiying who is originally from Yilan’s Sanxing Township, happened to discover that a local tourist hotspot was littered with unsorted recyclables. After she received permission from the park to help with their recycling problem, she began driving from Taipei to Yilan each week to pick up the recyclables. Here’s more.
