養豬戶廢水Highly polluting pig farms

Pork is enjoyed by Taiwanese and is one of the basic food items almost eaten daily. However, the business of pig farming can have quite a detrimental impact on our environment. Unlike those farms in developed countries which are required to process their waste properly as mandated by law, Taiwan’s pig farms typically discharge their waste water full of fecal matter right into rivers, which causes serious pollution to both water and air.
豬肉是台灣人主要吃的肉品，幾乎每天都會吃到，但是養豬業對環境卻會帶來很嚴重的影響，在已開發國家的養豬場，所有廢棄物都需依法處理過才能丟棄，而在台灣卻放任充滿豬隻排泄物的廢水，排入河水中，造成空氣與水源汙染。
