Twenty years ago, the former community director of Gongliao District, Xu-Wu Que, was deeply moved by Master Cheng Yen’s recycling vision and personally gathered recyclables despite of opposition. To help raise environmental awareness in the community, the former community director established the Tzu Chi Gongliao recycling station. We now take you to meet some of the seniors there.
早在二十多年前，新北市貢寮區當時的社區理事長許吳卻，感動於證嚴上人的呼籲，不顧外人異樣眼光，親自帶頭撿拾回收物，考慮到推動環保點的必要性，許吳卻成立了貢寮的慈濟環保站，帶各位看看環保老菩薩的付出。
