In the past, Tzu Chi volunteers recorded the monthly contributions made by their members in their donation books. However, in an effort to go paperless, in October 2010, Tzu Chi launched its first-generation Jing Si eBook Reader. The 9-inch touch screen reader also allows the volunteers to record member donations. Here’s more.
